S7 E3: Why Not Do It Ourselves? with Lagabière | Against The Grain

If you came up on craft beer in Quebec, you may have noticed an attractive green can that started popping up in speciality beer stores in 2017. Ta Meilleure, the unintentional flagship beer of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu's Lagabière, was arguably the first canned New England IPA in the province, and it truly changed the game.

We sat down with founders, and brothers, Sébastien and Francis Laganière at their downtown Saint-Jean brewpub, after a quick visit to their large production facility close by, to find out what made them brew a beer that was never available locally, and ultimately, where that very beer has lead them.
