Episode #206: Smallest Brewery In The City with Andrew McCready of Bickford Brewing | Adjunct Series
Toronto boasts a fascinating craft brewing scene, and the latest edition has a unique angle. Unofficially the smallest brewery in the city, newcomers Bickford Brewing have been making quite the splash in their first year in business. Founder and Brewer Andrew McCready joins Cee on the pod to chat about his home brew beginnings and how he continues to keep that connection with GTA Brews alive, why he chooses to contract brew his flagship products, the benefits that smaller breweries have, his recent New Brewery of the Year win at the Canadian Brewing Awards, his collaboration series, his dedication to Canadian ingredients, why his brewery has become the neighbourhood bar, and all the fun stuff they have planned for their upcoming first anniversary. They got into six Bickford brews - Patio Crusher Peach Light Lager, Dog Park American Pale Ale, Colonel Bickford's Premium Ontario Ale, Golden Mile Pale Mild collaboration with Common Good and Chang-Sang Estates Brewery, What Gose Round Raspberry Gose, and White, Black, Filter Coffee Stout collaboration with BAOS Podcast and Found Coffee. This was a ripper - cheers!
